Children riding bus number 12 to Anderson Intermediate school were involved in a minor accident this morning. Brad Milleman - Principal reached out to parents to make sure that they were aware. The issue brings up the discussion if these buses that do not have seatbelts should be upgraded or fitted as some students said they were tossed in the impact when the bus hit a car turning into the driveway for the school. Details still remain unclear to us if there were any citations issued at the accident. It should be noted that the accident was not related to the eLearning day called for tomorrow, 11/23/2021 as bus 12 was back in service this afternoon with the same driver. As more information becomes available about the transportation woes the school system is facing, we will let you know.
